- 2 tablespoons agave ($.20)

This is super thick and rich … and a little bit hot.
In a blender, puree the bananas, almond milk, cocoa powder, avocado, and cayenne until smooth and creamy. It will be quite thick. Spoon into glasses and top with some cacao nibs.

oh my gosh…yum! i'm going to make this for lunch right now!!!
🙂
Wow..that looks like a perfect meal to me!
It is!
Where does one get the nibs? What size and type of avocado? Does it have to be almond milk? (I dislike the taste and use soy milk.)
Hi Kassie. I get my nibs from Natural Zing. Use any avocado you like … a bigger avo will make it creamier. Use whatever milk you like :). I LOVE almond milk. I just really recommend it be made from organic almonds …
I wonder if, as this is thick, it could be used as a chocolate "pudding" for dessert?
It's probably just a little thin to be pudding. Another avo would probably make it thick enough.
80 cents for four bananas?!? No way.
Bananas go on sale locally for about $.29 a pound, sometimes even less. I stock up when they do and freeze the extras. They're also not organic.
Why does it list avocado and then not need it in the recipe?
Thanks for pointing that out, anon. I edited the recipe to make it clearer.
How come this checklist avocado after which not require this within the formula?
