  24. So, this is the blonde in me coming out… 🙂 I just the other day realized that chia seeds are the same as the ch ch ch chia commercials. All my life I have had these "DUH" moments and when I do I just have to laugh. People on these blogs would say how they made ch ch ch chia this and ch ch ch chia that and I didn't know why they were doing that and then one day it actually hit me, "OH THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT CH CH CH CHIA! LOL"

  30. By visiting Chia Seeds Direct I learned those with food allergies to mustard or sesame seeds might react to chia. Thankfully, I'm not in that group. Feel bad for those that are.

    I didn't know there were more anti-oxidants in the black seeds. I just wish they didn't make me constipated (flax also) not matter how much I drink. But my girls love them.

    I was totally enamored with chia seeds last Fall. Couldn't get enough of 'em. So strange. I really believe that my body was craving some nutrient in the chia. And then one day, I woke up and was like "Meh, I'm done."

    BUT, those pics of the choco-chia have me salivating! I am SO making that tomorrow.

    On Vegan Family style I learned that you don't have yo be 100% raw to start seeing some improvement physically. On Chia Seeds Direct I learned that Chia Seeds is a superfood, has soluble fiber, has 2 times the protein of any other seed or grain.

    I just opened my email and when I found a new post by rawon10 i said YES! outloud. So glad you used chia seeds because I was just losing contact with them. The chocolate recipe looks delicious and the soup, too. I don't have an efficient blender so I'll try juicing the carrot then blending with a tomato or red pepper. Thank you! You're my patron saint!

    I totally Love your recipe blog. First, the serving sizes are perfect and leave no leftovers to get mushy in the fridge; Second, it is very doable and easy; Third, It is GOOD!!!

    Oh my gosh the book set and the chia seeds look so great! I am getting ready to head off for school and the book would be a great tool that would help me continue to try new vegan/raw recipes in college.

    Woo hoo, chia seeds! I eat them every day at breakfast, so I could definitely use a 2 lb supply! I love using them to thicken overnight oats. They're a great source of Omega 3s!

    i read some of her blog and found it very interesting. i was able to relate to her and felt that she was me (i guess every mother) talking. i always make myself lunch or something to eat after everyone else is taken care of. to see that she took a stand and put her mind to going on the raw food diet and becoming a raw food chef inspired me. the kitchen is where i love to be (the cooking part not cleaning) i love finding new recipes and ways to keep eating healthy and yummy!
    i'd love her cookbook to join your cookbook in my collection of raw foods 🙂
