What a fabulous menu today. I love the creative use of flax for the "fried" ice cream. I will definitely give this a try.

I live on my own but I make raw food for my friends and family as often as possible. They always love it!

    god these look awesome. yummmm.

  3. Everything looks wonderful! I think the "fried" ice cream is my favorite. We are addicted to frozen fruit sorbet so this sounds perfect to me.

Most of the time I make food for myself and my husband. But I have been known to cook for friends and family as well. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I just un cook for myself and some of my friends sometimes, never my hubby to be, he's kinda anti- raw!!

  6. Noelle says:

Wow, I like the fried-ice cream recipe. I will have to give that a try!

I like making raw stuff but not passing it off as raw, because it seems to turn people off even my hubby, but eventually they like it.

Now that's my idea of a sandwich!

I love combining sweet fruits with red onions in a salad. Mmmm, it's like an explosion of flavors in your mouth.โ€ข*ยจ`โ˜…

First, a question, I want to make the beautiful little tart, but I don't actually see the chocolate listed in the recipe. Did you use cacao powder?

This morning I started up the dehydrator and have portabella sausage patties going as well as mock bacon and marinated mushrooms. So when I saw your carrot onion bread I said, what the heck I'll whip up a batch and throw it in with the rest. Your recipe took me a whole 5 minutes to prep. Thank you so much for all of your spectacular recipes. I use all of them!!
I cook predominately for myself since I eat all of my meals raw, but I have a husband and 5 children that I also prepare raw foods for. They eat a small portion of cooked but LOVE all of my raw dishes, that is what they have for their "sides" at each meal.
    Peace and Health,
    Elizabeth

  18. Mmm…it all looks so delicious!

  19. Raw fried ice cream? Seriously? I love it!

  20. I've been preparing some raw stuff here and there and experimenting with the entire family! I've been feeding it to them and then waiting for their reaction and then telling them its healthy and all raw :)!! Thanks for the ideas! I just recently made the choco/avocado pie and it went over really well!!

Looks great! I just ordered your e-book haven't found the link in my e-mail yet. Can't wait to get to look at it.

  24. "Unfried" ice cream, what a great idea! You are so creative :] And that tart – gorgeous!

  25. i've never done raw foods before, but since a friend of mine is big into it i began subscribing to your blog. when this "ice cream" showed up the other day i was determined to give it ago. i'll admit, i used plain old chocolate chips for my cacao and sweetened coconut flakes since that's all i have, but after tasting the creation i decided no syrup was necessary -they are just plain great! maybe some day i'll make them the way they should be, but for now, thank you thank you thank you for sharing this recipe.

  26. Mindy says:

Yesterday was my sister's birthday. I made the chocolate raspberry tart for her, as she didn't want cake. Both she and my mother really loved it (and I liked it too!). Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  27. The Raw Kiwi says:

Oh My Goodness! I made this dessert and it was a hit with everyone. I used to make avocado mousse but adding the banana is perfect! I would love to write about it on my blog http://www.therawkiwi.com and use one of your photos if that's ok? Thanks!

Yahoo! "Fried" raw ice cream! Great idea! I just made some "fried" battered raw onion rings and zucchini and they were so yummy!

I make raw food for myself and love to share it. Now my guy friend is becoming vegan and it is fun to think of things to make for him! ๐Ÿ™‚

  31. Cynthia says:

Great recipes I can't wait to try the salad. Peaches? I just wouldn't of thought of that. Thanks.
I combine only for myself except on a daily basis I try to feed my gang at least one raw food for dinner. It might be a salad, or fruit or a fancy dessert but something. Anything is better than nothing.

  32. Another spectacular post! Fried ice cream for breakfast? The name alone had me sold. ๐Ÿ˜‰
