It’s amazing how just a few simple ingredients can turn into such a lovely dish. Smoothie bowls are thought of as breakfast foods. This would be delicious for that! But smoothies are also fantastic healthy and sugar-free substitutes for more conventional ice creams (even vegan ones have sugar).

Frozen Spinach For Mango Spinach Smoothie Bowl

Yes, spinach is super easy to freeze which will make it a convenient and frosty addition to any smoothie. I buy the bags or plastic tubs of spinach, the ones that are already washed and can be used straight from the container. I just toss the bag or tub into the freezer and, voila, the next day it’s ready to toss into the blender. The frozen leaves come apart easily and so I just grab a couple of handfuls to use.
