Raw Chocolate Banana Split
Raw Chocolate Banana Split can be a perfect breakfast, snack, or dessert. It’s mostly just fruit with a few nuts on top. The protein in this can be upped by adding hemp protein or hemp seeds and it’s even more filling.
Raw Chocolate Banana Split is Perfect for Breakfast
This is so delicious for a breakfast but can really be enjoyed at any time. This particular one was at the request of the hubby who wanted dessert for dinner at the end of a hot and sweaty day.
These are so easy to make, too. It takes all of about 5 minutes, assuming you have your bananas frozen already and I know you do!
Just in case you don’t already know the amazing thing that n’ice cream is, peeled and frozen bananas can be blended into delicious facsimiles of ice cream. Blended, it cold, creamy, sweet, and delicious. It’s also an excellent way to use super ripe bananas. Just peel and place in a freezer-safe container and use when frozen solid, which takes about 8 hours or overnight. It’s not totally necessary to slice the bananas into chunks. Sometimes I do, sometimes I just freeze them whole and break them up when it’s time to use them.
The other thing I could not do without is cacao powder. Cocoa powder is also perfectly acceptable, and I use it a lot, too. The difference between the two is that cocoa powder has been processed with higher heat. Both are the cacao beans that have had the cocoa butter removed. It’s probably not possible to get truly raw cacao powder, but it’s probably less processed and heated less than products labeled cocoa powder. I enjoy both.
Cacao Nibs Are Delicious Additions to a Raw Chocolate Banana Split
Cacao nibs are dried and crushed whole cacao beans. They’re intensely chocolatey and can be added to the top of these like crunchy chocolate chips.

Sliced Strawberries are Yum!
It’s been a good year so far for strawberries. I added some sliced ones on top and they were pretty and delicious. I added some chopped nuts and chopped dates as well.
